Every operational decision Gus makes is guided by a client‑centered mindset, knowing firsthand how critical stability and empathy are during the early stages of recovery.
Before stepping into this role, Gus worked as a licensed realtor in San Francisco. That experience taught him how to connect with people from all walks of life, build trust quickly, and communicate with empathy—skills that now serve him well in supporting clients, families, and staff in a treatment setting. He has also worked closely with aging individuals and their families on issues of trust, long‑term planning, and transitions of care, bringing sensitivity and structure to complex and emotional situations.
